International Students Advisory (ISA) is a distinguished international agency dedicated to recruiting overseas staff and students for companies and universities worldwide, with a strong focus on the United Kingdom, Europe, USA, Canada, and Australia. ISA, a UK-owned and UK-managed global education agency, was founded in the UK in 2023 and subsequently established in Nigeria. It stands as one of the fastest-growing global student recruitment agencies globally. ISA's mission revolves around assisting students and potential migrants worldwide in navigating the complex landscape of university applications. With a specific emphasis on helping international students secure placements in the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, and Australia, our highly skilled team operates from offices in London, Glasgow, and Lagos. Currently, we are seeking to appoint a full-time Nigeria-based General Manager to oversee ISA's operations and lead our global team.

Job Overview

This pivotal role demands a candidate with robust business development experience, preferably in education and travel agencies, coupled with sound commercial and business acumen. The ideal candidate will possess marketing skills, experience, and the ability to introduce innovative ideas to support an international student/client base.

1. Drive the achievement of key business targets.
2. Manage the team effectively to ensure business profitability.
3. Develop and present business models and plans to the management team regularly.
4. Cultivate partnerships and manage stakeholder relationships.
5. Oversee team expansion and spearhead business development initiatives.
6. Provide training and guidance to international students on UK Higher Education options.
7. Offer advice on suitable universities and courses based on applicants' academic and professional backgrounds.
8. Direct the development of regional markets, websites, and social media accounts.
9. Liaise with partner institutions to facilitate student information and access to courses.
10. Advise students on language requirements and contribute to the development of SI-UK's International English Language Testing System Centre (IELTS).
11. Participate in student recruitment activities such as UK university fairs and partner college/school visits with presentation sessions.
12. Assist with any other duties supporting ISA's business efficiency.
